Radio Decoder MD2

The radio decoder MD2 contains a radio module that communicates with the radio module in the hand controller via duplex communication. The radio decoder MD2 translates radio traffic with lever and button data from the controller into CAN messages and transmits the information via CAN bus to the control system. The radio decoder MD2 receives in the same way information, CAN messages from the control system and sends it back to the controller.

High safety standards

Because extremely high safety standards are imposed to ensure that all data remains uncorrupted the decoder has an extra microchip that makes sure translation is correct.

Controller and radio decoder must be paired

The controller and radio decoder MD2 must be paired for a connection to be established. A unique code is read off and stored in each unit in order to secure that the controller can only control one specific unit at the time.
